Posio has two hotels, one in the centre and the other at the foot of the Kirintövaara Hill.

On the summit of Kirintövaara beside the excursion routes and downhill skiing slopes, is an area planned for Honka Ski Village, an area for massive log villas made by Honkarakenne. The construction project progresses by first reserving a plot from the Posio Municipality, secondly negotiating a villa package with Honkarakenne, then thirdly finalise the plot purchase and make arrangements for the erection of the villa.
